The gas-fired furnace adopts an energy-saving structure, with energy savings reportedly reaching 65% (for bogie-type gas-fired annealing furnaces) or 35% (for all-fiber bogie-type gas-fired furnaces). Its furnace lining uses an all-fiber structure, which helps improve the furnace's insulation performance.

The gas-fired furnace exhibits uniform temperature and workpiece heating; through high-speed burners and internal gas circulation, the heat insulation uniformity is ≤±10℃ [4-5]. The furnace door and furnace car are electrically controlled and equipped with an operating control panel; it features automatic ignition, flame detection, flameout alarm, and automatic gas shut-off functions.

The gas-fired furnace is equipped with interlocking protection devices, such as interlocking the bogie with the furnace door and protection against insufficient air-gas pressure. Combustion control and air-fuel ratio adjustment aim to reduce black smoke emissions.
